Hi Jim, I haven't watched your 1ml as regularly as I wanted to, because of our own learning curve in this new job as a pastor of a VM church. Today I looked over the whole process on http://www.devedinternational.com/1ml/1ml-015/player.html and was delighted with the perceptive way you designed and analyzed the learning process. As teachers we need to be listeners foremost and conveyers of "truth" in response to a perceived need. Asking questions teaches more than dumping unasked for information. Keep at it and God's blessing on your endeavors.
Very true, Jim. I have found that I can often see the incremental progress retrospectively, but am not always able to define it as I move forward. I liked your first question because it is a positive perspective and acknowledges that we are not normally starting "from scratch". It helps to reassure me.
