This bird is a "Superb Starling". That's the actual name of the bird. They can be found in east Africa but also at the Bird Kingdom in Niagara Falls (for those who would like to see one up close). It is a fact however that many birds are known for their intelligence. Most songbirds are actually smarter than most mammals and have shown a higher degree of learning capabilities.
The starling in the picture is probably in the process of learning something about human behaviour. He seems to be thinking why do humans point a shiny box at me and press a button on it.
Am I sounding like an expert? (I had to include at least one question)
Right on the money! Thanks Jim!
