We looked at learner harmonics and how a coach finds the natural frequencies to make a learner vibrate. The opposite of this is called learning dissonance: the activity that dampens the natural qualities of a learner.

Hi Jim,
ReplyDeleteWow! What a creative way to teach/illustrate the aggravation of dissonance! As I pressed harder to catch what was being said ( and hoped you'd soon speak without the echo...) I was easily in touch with things that create dissonance for me...like pace differences - someone speaking too slowly or taking too long to make their point, or too much information on a page, or someone checking their watch while I am talking ( guess in that case I'm too slow for them!!). Thanks for another fantastic 1 Minute of Learning!
